What is Our America?
Our America is an autobiographical VR Experience about a father and son who get pulled over by the police on their way to school. The audience must make quick decisions, answer questions – but any wrong move is the difference between life and death.
Our America currently has a playable demo, and is planning for a full release later in 2020.
Why this Project?
Virtual Reality is an incredible tool for allowing people to view the world through a different perspective. We seek to use this technology to help people understand the fear, intensity, and helplessness of these situations that Black people must deal with every day.
Now, more than ever, the realities of racially motivated police brutality needs to be discussed. Our team strives to build empathy, growth, and understanding through putting people in the shoes of a family at the sudden brink of life and death.
