What is Our America?
Our America is an autobiographical VR Experience about a father and son who get pulled over by the police on their way to school. Players must make quick decisions, answer questions – but any wrong move is the difference between life and death.
Our America currently has a playable demo, and is planning for a full release later in 2020.
Why this game?
Virtual Reality is an incredible tool for allowing players to view the world through a different perspective. We seek to use this technology to help players understand the fear, intensity, and fragility of these situations that African Americans must deal with every day.
Now, more than ever, the realities of racially motivated police brutality needs to be discussed. Our team strives to build empathy, growth, and understanding through putting players in the shoes of a family at the sudden brink of life and death.
